Juanita Marie Hatch, 62, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 surrounded by friends and family.
She was born in Peru on September 11, 1955 to Evert and Bessie Ousley. She married Edward Hatch on May 12, 1979 and she preceded him in death. Juanita dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Aside from spoiling her grandkids, one of her greatest joys was collecting “I Love Lucy” memorabilia. She also spent many of her young adult years working at Nixon Newspapers.
She is survived by her children, Tracy (husband Don), Junior (wife Misty), Timmy (wife Maria), and Jason (wife Malissa). She is also survived by her grandchildren Destiny and Emily Booth, Savannah and Shayla Booth, Chelsey Childers, Tatum, Harper and Addison Hatch. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren Alexander and Shay. Also, siblings Judy Palmer and Brenda Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her sister Tamara Herrell.
Visitation will be held from 12pm – 2pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Zion Chapel Church, 915 South Broadway, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru. Love offerings may be made to the family through the funeral home.
