Linda Diann Holmes

Linda Diann Holmes, 69, of Gas City, IN, passed away at 5:56 AM on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her residence in Gas City, with her family by her side.  She was born on Wednesday, November 03, 1948, in Wabash, IN.  Linda graduated  in 1966 from Eastbrook High School , where her class was the first ones to graduate from the new school. She was a member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church where she was custodian, and also a member of the United Methodist Women. She retired from I&M (AEP) after many years of service. Linda worked part time at the Gas City 69 exit Village Pantry, where she loved visiting with her customers. She was an avid Colts fan, enjoyed camping, traveling, crocheting, and especially loved being able to take care of her grandkids.

Knox, KY, Emma Sheets, Marion, IN, Maddy Sheets, Marion, IN,  Allison Holmes, Gas City, IN, Sister – Sandra K. (Glenn) Robbins, Hartford City, IN and several nieces, nephews and great nieces.

 

She was preceded in death by her Father – Warren L. Draper, Mother – Wanda Mae (Reneer) Draper, and Sister – Geneva “Genny” Larkin.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at the Center Chapel United Methodist Church 8733 E. 200 S. Marion on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  A service to celebrate Linda’s life will follow at Center Chapel Church at 5:00 with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home in Van Buren.
