Laura L. Poling, age 75, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 9:10 pm at Oakbrook Village, Huntington. She owned her own daycare and worked as secretary of Huntington Pest Control. She was a member of New Hope United Brethren Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed many of the costumes for the New Hope Church Christmas performances.
Laura was born November 15, 1942, in Bucyrus, Ohio. On May 20, 1962 she married her beloved husband of 55 years Charles Poling in Lykens, Ohio, and he survives in Huntington. Also surviving are a son Jud Poling of Fort Wayne and 2 brothers John Eldon Kibler and Earl Eugene Kibler.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 16 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm preceding the 1:00 pm funeral service at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
