Larry E. Maggart Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep at 4am on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
He was born in Smithville, TN on September 24, 1949 to Thomas Maggart and Marie Bolin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Steve, and his beloved Trixie. Larry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed his auctions and “making that deal.”
Larry is survived by his wife, Donna; sons Bud Maggart (Cheryl), and Todd Maggart (Kathy); daughters Kerrie Hannigan (Brian), and Jean Hilbert (Bob). Also, grandkids: Samantha (Brody), Emily, Marlee (Mike), Quinn, Josh, Woodney, Chloe, Ethan, Brooklyn, Jackson, Owen, and Ryan. Also siblings: Carolyn, Gary (Judy), David (Sherrill), Pam (Ernie), Jimmy, Timmy (Sue), Jeff (Karen), Christy (Tammy), Lynn(Scott); and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2pm – 4pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A memorial service will follow at 4pm, with Guy Woodhouse officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Donor Network.
