Larry Dean Coldren

Larry Dean Coldren, 82, of Wabash, Indiana, died 11:46 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on March 5, 1939, in Andrews, Indiana, to Claude Coldren and Ermalene (Glassburn) Ellet.

Larry was a graduate of Andrews High School and was an Air Force veteran. He married Lisa Smith in Plymouth, Indiana on October 6, 1979. Larry was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed working on cars, drag racing, and working in the yard.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Coldren of Wabash; eight children, Cammie (Jim) Day of Elsberry, Missouri, Michael (Jennifer) Coldren of San Antonio, Texas, Julie Coldren of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tory Vigar and Chad (Libby) Vigar, both of Urbana, Indiana, Kelli Coldren Mehring of Peru, Indiana, Brandon (Nicole Ervin) Coldren of New Haven, Indiana, and Chris (Goldie Moore) Coldren of Wabash, 31 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and his sister, Norma Hill of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Connie King.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1-2pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is the family of Larry Coldren to help with funeral expenses, in care of the funeral home.
