Kimberly Susan Frank, 59, of rural Urbana, Indiana, died at 11:02 am, Monday, August 14, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on April 15, 1964, in Wabash, Indiana, to Lowell and Lois (Harris) Smith.
Kim was a 1982 graduate of Northfield High School, and attended Purdue University three years. She married Bryan S. Frank at the Wabash Presbyterian Church on September 21, 1986. Kim drove school bus for MSD of Wabash County for 20 years, and also drove bus for multiple school activities. She was a member of the Urbana Yoke Parish and the Golden Retrievers Club of America. Kim enjoyed working with and showing Golden Retrievers, reading, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan S. Frank; two children, Megan (Alex) Huiras and Brandon (Emily) Frank; and two grandchildren, Harper and Reece Frank, all of Urbana; mother, Lois Smith of Wabash; and two sisters, Lisa (Tom) Mathews of New Castle, Indiana, and Tamara (Charles) Pardo of Zionsville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Smith.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Brian Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 3-7 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Urbana Yoke Parish.
