Amy Catherine Mabry, 50, of Peru, Indiana, formerly of Lafayette, Tennessee, died at 8:20 pm, Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Hickory Creek Nursing Facility in Peru. She was born on July 3, 1973, in Wabash, Indiana, to Larry Ray Dennison and Pamela Darlene (Palmer) McVicker.
Amy married Clinton J. Mabry in Gallatin, Tennessee on September 16, 2011; he died March 21, 2012. She enjoyed her cat “Gail”, driving around, traveling, being with her friends, making sock monkeys, and playing cards, especially Spades. She was extremely competitive in all games.
She is survived by her father, Larry Ray Dennison of Bethpage, Tennessee; mother, Pamela Darlene McVicker of Denver, Indiana; three children, Joe Escue of Gallatin, Courtney Mabry of West Moreland, Tennessee, and Warren Mabry of Bethpage; 6 grandchildren; and three brothers, Fred Dennison of LaFontaine, Indiana, Ben Dennison of Lafayette, Tennessee, and Justin Dennison of Bethpage.
Per Amy’s wishes, there will be a memorial service in Tennessee at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
