Kelly Todd Johnson, 61, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Marion on Monday, March 7, 1960, to Charles and Judith (Cranor) Johnson.
Kelly graduated from Marion High School and worked at Active Products and Boots Creek. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was also an avid sports fan and especially liked the Colts and Pacers. He had played baseball and softball. He loved to listen to old rock ‘n roll and country music. Kelly was a loving son and dedicated father. He will be remembered as a kind man who never went anywhere without his baseball cap.
Kelly is survived by his mother, Judith L. Johnson of Marion; daughter, Macy (Evan) Longacre of New Salisbury; sister, Stacey (Rick) Adkins of Marion; brother-in-law, Jim Harris of Jonesboro; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Johnson, and sister, Dawn Michelle Harris.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a memorial service to celebrate Kelly’s life will begin at 2:00 pm. Rev. Bill Sparks will be officiating.
