Karen S. (Klein) Cooper, 65, Marion, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on August 8, 1957, to William and Irma Jean (Smith) Klein.
Karen graduated from Marion High School and was a research coordinator with the NCAA. She was a faithful member of Hillside Wesleyan Church. Her family and her church family meant the world to her. Karen was an avid Purdue sports fan, and she enjoyed spending time cooking and crafting.
Survivors include her son, Jason (Jessica) Cooper; granddaughter, Adeline Cooper; and several of her children’s friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jeffrey Klein.
A memorial visitation for Karen will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Hillside Wesleyan Church, 2510 S. Home Ave., Marion, IN 46953.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a memorial service to celebrate Karen’s life will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Gary Bingham officiating.
