John A. Kral, 53, Hartford City, passed away at 11:58 am on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Grey Stone Health & Rehab in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, September 7, 1969, to Joseph “Joe” and Jean (Keith) Kral.
John graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked at Structural Steel Services. He enjoyed playing disc golf and taking his family boating at the Salamonie Reservoir. He was really mechanically inclined and loved to tinker. He never did anything halfway.
Survivors include his father, Joseph “Joe” Kral of Marion; sons, Justin (Raven) Kral of Kannapolis, NC, Jice (Makayla Dobbs) Kral of Hartford City, Jack Kral, Marcus Kral, Elijah Kral; daughter, Josie (Gage Risner) Kral of North Manchester; and brother, Bill (Paula) Kral.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Kral; and sister, Nichole R. Kral.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate John’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
