Jodi G. Owens, 57, Marion, passed away at 10:50 am on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, March 22, 1966, to Gary and Connie (Harper) McDonald.
Jodi graduated from Oak Hill High School was a Teachers Aid at Marion Community Schools. Her family was everything to her; she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed crafts and playing Bingo. She loved going to the racetrack with family and liked to go to rummages and thrift stores.
Survivors include her husband, Jerald Owens of Marion; sons, Joshua (Whitney) Owens, Jacob (Jessica) Owens; grandsons, Bentlee Owens, Harlan Owens, Hayden Owens, Hudson Hill, Elliott Owens, Ethan Owens; sisters, Denise (Kent) Nelson, Paula Preston; nieces and nephews, Michaela Preston, Whitney Miller, Cory Hickey, Ethan Preston, Alicia Shanks, Christyn Owens, Bryant Owens, Derek Owens, Steven Owens, Jimmy Miller, Kenny Miller, Logan Owens; and bonus son, Dustin (Heidi) Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Connie McDonald; and niece, Mindy Owens.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jodi’s life will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
