Jerry B. Moser, 87, of Somerset, Indiana, died at 5:00 am, Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. He was born on September 23, 1935, in Steele, Missouri, to John and Ora (Jackson) Moser.
Jerry worked and retired from General Tire in Marion as a machine operator, after 30 years. He married Ruth E. Hogeland in Holland, Missouri on September 23, 1954; she died November 26, 2020. Jerry was a member of Somerset Church of Christ.
He is survived by four sons, Jeffery Moser of Marion, Ricky (Brenda) Moser of Timberlake, North Carolina, David (Mary) Moser of Urbana, Indiana, and John (Teresa) Moser of Yancyville, North Carolina, 11 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Jeff Hierholzer officiating. Burial will be in Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery, Somerset. Friends may call 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Somerset Church of Christ.
