Jeffrey T. “Tommy” Woodard

Jeffrey T. “Tommy” Woodard, 54, Marion, passed away at 7:45 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, July 1, 1968, to Cleveland and Lorena (McKee) Woodard.  

Tommy graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked at Woodard Auto Sales.  He was dedicated to the family business and had worked there all of his life.  Tommy loved his Harley-Davidson and was a member of The Tribe Motorcycle Club.  He was a lot of fun when you got him going.  He also had the coolest strut and always smelled amazing!  Tommy was the best brother, uncle, son, and friend to very many people. There will always be a void, and he will be missed beyond measure.    

Survivors include his mother, Lorena Woodard; sisters, Rita Woodard Smith of Marion and Martha (Bryan) Robinson of Athens, AL; best friends, Alan Sample, Shane Moore, and Craig Humphries; nephews, Nicholas Smith of Marion and Doug Wood of Gas City; nieces, Morgan Smith of Calhoun, GA, and Tammi (Chris) Grathen of Cassopolis, MI; great-nephews, Braden Grathen, Ian Wood, Eli Wood, and Ethan Wood; and great-niece, Autumn Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Woodard, Jr.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

A funeral service to celebrate Tommy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at North Chapel. Pastor Tom Mansbarger will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
