Jeffrey graduated from Marion High School (1981) and attended Ball State University. He was a sales representative for the past seven years with LinCare Mobility Scooters. Jeffrey was a beer connoisseur and loved sports, football, basketball, listening to music, and going to concerts. He also loved to play games, especially corn hole and board games. Most of all, he loved his family and his grandchildren.
Additional survivors include his father, Artie Pence of Marion; children, Amanda Balser of Lafayette, Harley Greenwood of Marion, Bruce (Morgan) Greenwood of Marion, Ashley (Nicholas) Shook of Marion, Alison (James) Curtin of Lakeville, MA, and Brittany (Jeremy) Greenwood of Marion; sister, Angela Pence of Ormond Beach, FL; sisters-in-law, Tonya (Dusty) Guy of Marion and Tracy Bailey of Marion; granddaughters, Destini (Rudy), Tatum, Abby, Alaysia, Lilah, Aryana, Bailey, and Parker; grandsons, Jackson and Tobias; father-in-law, Paul Stapleton; and best friend, Greg (Bonnie) Watson of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie O’Leary; his first wife, Tamara (Fisher) Pence, mother-in-law, Betty Stapleton; and granddaughter, Maddy.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Wally Champion will be officiating.
