Jay David Bolin, 63, of Roann, Indiana, died at 2:01 am, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at his home. He was born on June 26, 1960, in Wabash, Indiana, to Richard Bolin and Evelyn (Swihart) Irelan.
Jay was a welder for 30 years, and worked for J&D Farrowing Stalls and Wabash Valley Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and Nascar.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Rhonda Siders of Roann; four children, Aaron (Michelle) Bolin of Peru, Indiana, Casey (Allison) Bolin of Warsaw, Indiana, Jason (Teresa) Siders of Macy, Indiana, and Mary Siders of Wabash, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, Bailey Thurman, Peyton (Victoria) Garrett, Dereck Thurman, Braxton Beall, Delaney Siders, Auston Garrett, Sammy Bolin, Brooklyn Bolin, Vayda Bolin, Shepherd Bolin, Bryson Bolin, and Kennedi Blanchard; mother, Evelyn Irelan of North Manchester, Indiana; brother, Joe Bolin of North Manchester; two sisters, Betty Flitcraft of Roann, and Barbara (Bruce) McGuire of North Manchester; his brother-in-law, Joey Flitcraft of Roann; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, step father Don Irelan; his daughter, Jasmine Curry, and his brother James Bolin.
There will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel.
