Janice M. Price, 64, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 6:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born October 28, 1954 in Van Lear, Kentucky to Arvin “Jack” and Elizabeth “Bug” (Walker) Music.
Janice married Daniel “Dan” Price in Springfield, Tennessee on June 30, 1984. She worked seven years at GDX and also worked 10 years at Hoosier Point Truck Stop, both in Wabash. Janice attended Christian Heritage Church in Wabash. She enjoyed crocheting, going to garage sales, and spoiling her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Price of Wabash, four children, Jennifer (Douglas) Gatchel of LaFontaine, Indiana, Daniel “Buddy” (Carrie) Price, Roger (Jennifer) Price, and David Price, all of Wabash, eight grandchildren, two daughters-in-law, Cristin Price of Wabash, and Brandy Price-Beckford of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and two sisters, Renee Eads of Wabash, and Linda Sue (Bill) Noland of Kokomo, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arvin Music, and Stevie Music, and her sister, Judy Hyden.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, November 19, 2018 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Matthew Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9-10 am Monday, at the funeral home.
