Jane A. Bowling, 74, Marion, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Marion Health. She was born in Auburn, Michigan, on April 18, 1948, to Howard and Betty (Hornbaker) Althouse. In 1988, she married Clayton Casey Bowling and he preceded her.
She attended Mississinewa Schools. Jane did custodial work at Marion General Hospital and was an administrative assistance for Thompson’s Trucking and S&T Hardware. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her dog, Zoey and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Brown; son, Brian (Stefanie) Rogers; grandchildren, Zachary (Kilee) Brown, Nicholas (Paige) Brown, Ezra Rogers, and Zoe Rogers; two sisters, Pam (Carl) Jones and Kathy (Tom) Dixon; sister-in-law, Pam “Logan” Althouse; and special friends, Harold and Judy Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bruce Althouse and Wally Althouse and husband, Clayton Casey Bowling.
A graveside service to celebrate Jane’s life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Gas City.
