Jack Edwin Sellers, 83, of Urbana, Indiana, died at 4:46 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, in Fort Wayne. He was born June 11, 1934 in Marion, Indiana to Edwin Beverly Sellers and Mildred F. (Allen) Sellers.
Jack graduated from LaFontaine High School and retired from Wabash Alloys after 35 years. He collected donations for Shop with a Cop. Jack loved mushroom hunting, bowling, and was an avid I.U. basketball fan. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Kerry Sellers, Beth (Fred) Ford, and Beverly Sanders; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Stacy) Sellers, Jared Ford, Destiny Ybarra, Trista (Dave) Jones, Courtney Sellers, Lee Sellers, Lauren Sellers, Cheyenne Sanders, and Chris Sanders, 15 great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren, two brothers, Jerry Sellers and Jim (Pat) Sellers, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends from 12-6 p.m. Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. There will be no service.
Preferred memorial is American Cancer Society.
