Jack D. Livingston

Jack D. Livingston, 89, of Peru, passed away at 7:31 P.M., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Aperion Care, Peru. He was born in Worthington, IN on April 11, 1929, the son of Samuel and Violet Halderman Livingston. Jack married Velma M. Curry in Carlisle, IN on April 18, 1948 and she survives. Jack was a 1946 graduate of Carlisle High School and a salesman for 7 Up Bottling Co. until his retirement in 1990. Surviving in addition to his wife, Velma, is a son Alfred B. Livingston and his wife Debi of Popular Bluff, MO and a daughter Lucy Melson of Peru; grandchildren Jennifer Livingston, Joshua Livingston, Shelly Rice (Tim) and Alyssa Bradley (Jason); great-grandchildren Jackson Rice, Georgia Rice, Alexis Bradley, Mackenzie Livingston, Moria Livingston and Issiah Livingston. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Kim Melson; one granddaughter Stacey Melson; one brother and three sisters. A Graveside Service for Jack D. Livingston will be held at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru to the Alzheimer’s Association.
