Jacendia M. “Missy” Skeens (Trappe), 52, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at her home in Upland, Indiana. She was born on April 02, 1966, in Houston, Texas, to Allen Trappe and Bessie (Eddins) Koukoutis. Missy was a homemaker, a nurses aide at Bradner Village and Twin City Healthcare, and she used to work at Blackford County canning factory. She enjoyed being around her family. She also enjoyed sewing, watching TV, playing games, listening to country music and traveling.
Missy is survived by her husband, Elijah “Rich” Richard Skeens, Marion; her sons, Johnathan Skeens, Gas City and Isaiah Skeens, Marion; her sisters, Vanessa Matlock, Mont Belvieu, TX and Nancy Joe Trappe, Hardin, TX.
Arrangements for Missy have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where the family will have a private viewing.
Contributions made in memory of Missy can be made to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home to help the family defray her funeral costs.
