Hattie B. Keaffaber, 66, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:05 pm, Monday, December 2, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born August 2, 1953 in Paintsville, Kentucky to Herman and Beulah (Waller) Dutton.
Hattie married Corwin “Corky” Keaffaber in Wabash, Indiana on April 14, 2001; he died December 31, 2006. She enjoyed playing Bingo and scratching backs at the nursing home. She worked as an in home caregiver, when she was able.
She is survived by her daughter Charlotte, brother, John (Dawn) Dutton of Daytona Beach, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Mandy Perkins, 2 brothers Homer Penix and Jim Jack Dutton, and 2 sisters, Nellie Faye Berry and Jeannie Brooks.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9-10:00 am Thursday at the funeral home.
