Harvey Earnest LaFlamme, 78, of Gas City, passed away at 10:48 am on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, on Thursday, April 26, 1945, to Adeland and Claire (Sampson) LaFlamme. He married Rose Mary Hatfield, who survives.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, SPJST. He loved cooking and was an award winning chef. He had his own BBQ catering business. He enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles. He loved polka dancing, the Dallas Cowboys and being outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family.
Along with his wife, Rose Mary LaFlamme, he is also survived by his children, Allen (Bonnie) LaFlamme, Kimberly LaFlamme, Michelle Olivares; sisters, Claire Wallace, Christine Mares; granddaughters, Madison Cavazos, Aubreigh LaFlamme, Caris Cavazos, Kinsley LaFlamme, and Coralee Braud.
He was preceded in death by parents, Adeland and Claire LaFlamme; and brother, Edward LaFlamme.
At Harvey’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
