Harold Lee Humphrey, age 86, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He died peacefully with family by his side.
Harold was born October 29, 1936, in Anderson, Indiana, to Roscoe and Sina Louise (Gray) Humphrey.
Harold worked for Foster Forbes Glass Company for 42 years until his retirement. He enjoyed photography and genealogy but his real joy in life was his family. He worked hard to provide for his family and was generous to a fault. He needed little out of life – he just wanted them to be happy.
He is survived by many loving family members – his wife of 66 years, Jacqueline; two daughters, Katrina Humphrey and Terri Kershner; son-in-law, Mark Kershner; grandson, Jonathan Kershner and his wife, Carrie; and his granddaughter, Marque Boyce and her husband, James. Shortly before his death, Harold was able to meet the newest member of his family, great-grandson, Miles Kershner. Harold is also survived by his brother, David Humphrey, his sisters-in-law, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Humphrey.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Visitation will also be held from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
