Greg A. West, 54, passed away in his Marion residence on October 26, 2018. He was born in Marion to Robert L. and Phyllis A. (Pernod) West on August 20, 1964.
Greg graduated from Marion High School in 1982. He was a life-long resident of Marion. On October 28, 1996 Greg married Jennifer L. Weaver-Royse and she survives. He worked as a driver/delivery person for Dunn Water Conditioning for 13 years. Greg enjoyed golfing, bowling, dirt track racing, traveling and spending time on the computer. His best time was being with family and friends. He will be remembered by his family as a wonderful man who always put others before himself.
Greg is also survived by his parents, Robert L. and Phyllis A. (Penrod), Marion; children, Christina M. (James) Beatty, Marion; Amber R. (Tim) Sanders, Marion; Deborah E. Royse, Fort Wayne; Terenda R. Royse, Marion; brother, Gary L. (Debbie) West; Peru; sister, Debbie (Ron) Harris, Port Saint Lucie, Florida; brothers-in-law, Ronald L. (Ruth) Weaver, California, Missouri; Mike D. Weaver, Marion; sister-in-law, Becky S. Elliott, Wabash; grandchildren, eleven; great-grandchildren, four; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Sunnycrest Baptist Church, 2172 West Chapel Pike Marion, Indiana, with Pastor Troy Bishop officiating. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion Indiana was entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
