George Michael “Mike” Shea, 76, of Wabash, Indiana, formerly of rural Roann, Indiana, died at 10:30 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at The Waters of Wabash East. He was born on September 2, 1946, in Wabash, Indiana, to Dorothy (Watson) Utter.
Mike worked at the Andersons in North Manchester. He was a member of the Laketon Wesleyan Church. Mike enjoyed chemistry, plumbing, and electrical work.
He is survived by his daughter, Erin Shea of Wabash; five grandchildren, Georgia Frantz of Warsaw, Indiana, Sophie Turner, Cheyanne Ruff, Aimee Ruff, and Abby Ruff, all of Wabash; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Fisher and Henley Fisher, both of Wabash; and his brother, David Shea of Roann, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Utter.
Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2023 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, 335 S. Chippewa Road, Roann. Family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
