Gearldine Brower

Gearldine Brower (Gerry or Aunt Tootie)  87 y.o. of Macy Indiana passed away Friday, February 2nd at  Blair Ridge Health Campus.

 She was born January 26th 1937 in Smithville, Tennessee to William Jennings & Martha (Pack) Love.

 She loved working in the yard planting and taking care of her many flowers and plants. She was also seen often by neighbors on the lawnmower, mowing yard which she also enjoyed. She worked hard all her life helping with milking the cows, some field work, prepairing meals and housekeeping. She was an excellent cook. All she ever wanted was to be appreciated. And she greatly was.

 She was a 1955 graduate of Chili High School.

She met Larry and they were married on June 1, 1958 at Center Chapel Brethren Church. 

She was a member of Deedsville Community Church. 

 They enjoyed traveling and had traveled to all 50 states. They also enjoyed spending retirement several months a year in Bradenton Florida during the winter.

 In addition to her loving, devoted, husband and caregiver Larry Brower, she is survived by her brother Landon Love. Her sons Mitchell (Kelly) Brower of Monroe, Michigan and Darren Brower of Rochester, Indiana. Grandchildren Adam (Julie) Brower of Peru, Indiana, Ashley(Chad) Ewing of Temperance, Michigan, Megan Heil (Craig Scarantino) of Rockwood, Michigan, Aryn Brower of Monroe, Michigan and Andrew Brower (Nick Hoover) of Stevensville, Maryland. Great Grandchildren Bryce, Cameron, Lynlee, Charlotte, Reid, Jack, Finn and Emilia. Step Great Grandchildren Sara and Connor. She is also survived by one of her four legged fur babies P.D. (Pretty Dog).

 Gearldine is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother, Violet Mosely, Evelyn Hostetler, Ruth Conner, Edna Linn, Glen Love and Grandson Jeremy Michael.

 Visitation will be held at Flowers Leedy Funeral Home. Peru Indiana on Friday, February 9th from 2pm-7pm and from 11:00 am-12:00 Saturday prior to the Service.

 Funeral Service will be held Saturday February, 10th  at 12:00 am (Richard Olson Hospice Chaplain). Burial will take place following the Service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.

 After the Burial Service, family members are invited to the Deedsville Community Church for a meal.

Donations can be made to the Deedsville Community Church.
