Buck was a 1947 graduate of Salem High School and was a US Army veteran. He married Louise Sizemore in South Whitley, Indiana on April 23, 1967. He retired from the Indiana Department of Transportation after several years. Buck was a member of the Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Marion, and a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity for more than 60 years. He enjoyed traveling, was active in the We Care Program in Kokomo, and loved his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Rodman of Wabash; daughter, Jill (Joshua) Manns of North Manchester, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Alex Stefanatos of Akron, Indiana, Emma Stefanatos, Mitchell Manns, and Emilee Manns, all of North Manchester, and Mason Pfeiffer of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Marvin Rodman.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Tim Purdom officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 3-7 pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
