Franklin Roosevelt Badgley, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his residence at 131 Boulevard in Peru, Indiana.
He was born in Buffalo, New York on September 18, 1934 to James Leitz and Ester (Graves) Badgley. He married Jane (Cunningham) Badgley in 1955.
Franklin was an accountant, and was a wonderful father to his three children.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Jane; son Bruce S. Badgley and his wife Jeanette Badgley of Kenhorst, PA; and daughter Nora J. Badgley-Tielen of Eaton, IN. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Matthew J. Long, Samuel E. Long, Jenna Badgley, Jacklyn Badgley, and Jillian Badgley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Beth A. Badgley.
A private family service will be held at a later date. The family requests no flowers. Please give donations to Riley Children’s Hospital of Indianapolis.
