Frank DePaul Lambertson, Jr., 86, Marion, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 2:50 am on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. He was born in Anderson, Indiana, on Sunday, August 16, 1936, to Frank and Alberta (Ross) Lambertson, Sr. On October 22, 1974, he married Carolyn Musgrave, who survives.
Frank graduated from Alexandria High School and worked as a salesman with Sears and Roebucks for 25+ years until his retirement. He was then a custodian for 15+ years with Summitville Schools. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working puzzles, and eating Carolyn’s cooking. He especially enjoyed going to church and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his daughters, Teresa (Mike) Fite of Marion and Julie (Warren) Jones of Greenwood, MO; sons, Tony Lambertson of Summitville and Jeff (Rebecca) Paugh of Fayetteville, GA; granddaughters, Tylanna (Jeremy) Jones, Natasha Lambertson, and Emily Richardson; grandsons, TJ Lambertson, Stephen Newcom, Victor Richardson, Gatlin Jones, Samuel Jones, Avery Paugh, and Adam Paugh; great-granddaughters, Madison Jones and Nevaeh Newcom; and great-grandson, Karver Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Darlene Lambertson and Shirley Patz.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 403 W. 4th St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Frank’s life will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
