Frances Hicks, 77, Marion, passed away at 8:40 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center. She was born in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, on Tuesday, June 20, 1944, to Arthur and Helen (Hall) Nash. She married Joe Hicks in 1961, who preceded her in death.
Frances graduated from Madison Heights in Anderson and worked in Production for 32 years at RCA in Marion. She was a member of RCA Sympathy Club. Frances loved to travel, play Bingo, knit, and spend time with her canine companion, Billy, at Marbrook Campground. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Jarrett.
Survivors include her son, Bradley (Audra) Hicks of Marion; granddaughter, Brittany (Michael) Denham of Marion; grandson, Jordan Hicks of Marion; great-grandsons, Leeland Reynolds, Hunter Denham and Liam Denham; and sister, Dodie (late Mike) Gray of Pendleton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angie Hicks; sisters, Ann Wood and Kay (Gary) Raines; and brother, James Nash.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Frances’ life will begin at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Randy Thornburg officiating. Burial will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery.
