Elwyn L-Roy Dalley- “Cy”,
84, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 11:49 AM on Friday, August 03, 2018 at Markle Health Care in Markle, IN. He was born on Friday, March 30, 1934, in Lansing, MI. He married Elsie (Western) Dalley on Sunday, November 10, 1962 in Waterford, MI. Cy was a 1952 graduate of Byron Center High School in Byron, MI. He was a member of the Montpelier Church of Christ. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Cy attended the Great Lakes Christian College for 3 years. He was the Regional Manager at W.T. Grant in Clarence Center, N.Y., and was owner of Mr. Steak Restaurant in Marion, and Kokomo. He also was a licensed auctioneer and owned Cy’s Auction Service. He was a former member of the Brown-Doyle Millard Brown American Legion. He enjoyed being a Cub Scout leader, golfing, bowling, being a softball coach, and catering and fund raising for church events.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Harold Cyreanous Dalley, Mother – Doris (Parish) Dalley, Brother – Clifford L. Dalley, and Sister – Charlene Martin.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Thursday, August 09, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A service to celebrate his life will follow at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 09, 2018 with Pastor Dan Wagner officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps. and the Millard Brown American Legion Post 156.
