Elizabeth J. Layman, 56, of Peru, Indiana, died at 7:51 pm, Monday, August 1, 2022, at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru. She was born on November 23, 1965, in Wabash, Indiana, to Homer and Mary (Vigar) Layman.
Elizabeth was a 1986 graduate of Peru High School. She was a homemaker. Elizabeth enjoyed watching soap operas and even created a soap opera chat room. She loved her dogs Molly, Coco, Mocha, and Sassy.
She is survived by her siblings, Herschel (Jamie) Layman, Shelley (Michael) Bullins, and Penny (Kevin) Wohlford, all of Peru, and Doug (Barb) Roberts of Yuma, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Steven Roberts.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport. Friends may call 1-2 pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
