Eleanor Ruth Miller, 90, formerly of Swayzee, passed away in her daughter’s Warrenton, VA home at 8:20 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018. Eleanor was born on July 3, 1928, to the late John and Elizabeth (Van Zee) Canfield. Eleanor married Truey E. Miller, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2007.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Dennis (Karen) Pederson, Branson, MO, Cheryl (John) Kleinfelter, Warrenton, VA, Mark Miller, Haymarket, VA; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Cross, Blaine, MN; brother-in-law, Denny (Sue) Winslow, Swayzee, IN; her dogs Buffy and Mitsy, and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and her loving huband, Eleanor was preceded in death by children, Sharon Pederson and Donald Pederson; plus 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
Private graveside services will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery in Swayzee, IN.
