Elaine C. Berry, 77, Jonesboro, passed away at 5:55 am on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie. She was born in Berea, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 12, 1946, to Paul and Helen (Gillilan) Keesor. On September 15, 1972, she married Lawrence J. Berry and he preceded her.
Elaine graduated from Berea High School and worked at Glass Containers in Gas City and loved attending Eastview Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed working crossword and word search puzzles, garage sale shopping and talking on the phone with her friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Laurie (Sam Tarlton) Helton of Gas City; grandson, Drew Helton; brother, Dan (Joann) Keesor; sister, Janet Keesor; and brother, Doug Keesor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Elaine’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ken Dykhoff officiating. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery.
