Edward Wayne Riddle, Sr., 74, of Marion, IN, passed away with his family by his side at 6:41PM on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home in Marion. He was born on Sunday, February 06, 1944, in Bourbon County, KY. He loved trucking and was a truck driver for most of his life. Ed enjoyed working on his equipment, spending time with his grandchildren, and tree trimming. He was the backbone of his family and will be missed.
Loving survivors: Daughter – Treasa (Junior) Stone, Jonesboro, IN, Daughter – Elizabeth “Sis” Riddle, Marion, Son – Edward “Eddie” (Patricia) Riddle, Marion, Daughter – Terri (Marty) Fincannon, Marion, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Son in Law – Charles Smith, Several Brothers & Sisters, Special Cousin-David Riddle, Favorite Dog-Poppy and Mother of his Children-Treasa Ray, Marion.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – Espie Riddle, Mother – Irene (Purvis) Riddle, Daughter – Tina Smith, Several Brothers & Sister Grandchildren – Erica & Carie Smith, and Best Friend- James Jones.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Van Buren United Methodist Church-Fellowship Hall 108 South 2nd St. Van Buren on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A service to celebrate Ed’s life will be at the Fellowship Hall-Van Buren at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 with Pastor Scott Nedberg officiating. Viewing will be held one hour before the service starts. Interment will follow in the Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
