Douglas Allen Warford, 57, of rural Urbana, Indiana, died at 5:10 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2019 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. He was born January 6, 1962 in Wabash, to Belvey and Margaret (Baker) Warford.
Doug was a 1980 graduate of Northfield High School. He worked as a machinist at Bryan Steam in Peru, Indiana, 15 years. He was a member of the Lagro American Legion and the Wabash Elks Lodge. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and using his smoker.
He is survived by his parents, Belvey and Margaret Warford of Wabash, his daughter, Mackenzie (Dereck) Warner of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sister, Denise (Russ) Plummer of Hendersonville, Tennessee, two grandchildren, Auriella Warner and Jason Bruner, both of Fort Wayne.
Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Wabash Elks Lodge, 225 W. Main Street, Wabash, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service, followed by a meal.
Preferred memorials are Wabash Elks Lodge or Lagro American Legion.
