Donald J. Korporal, 74, of Warren, IN, passed away at 4:54 PM on Friday, February 08, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in Warren, IN. He was born on Wednesday, March 22, 1944, in Grant County, IN. He married Penny A. (Tyler) Korporal on Friday, June 28, 1963 in Lafontaine, IN. Donald was a 1963 graduate of Van Buren High School. He attended the Central Christian Church, Van Buren. Donald was a carpenter by trait and worked for Ira Banter Construction for 44 years. He retired from Modern Machine in Van Buren after 10 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his Wife – Penny A. (Tyler) Korporal, Warren, IN, Sons – Brad (Tammy) Korporal, Mt. Etna, IN, Chris (Tara) Korporal, Warren, IN, Tim Korporal, Huntington, IN, Grandchildren – Katie Korporal, Wyatt Korporal, Danielle Korporal, Jacob Korporal, and Colton Korporal.
He was preceded in death by his Father – William Korporal, Mother – Elnora (Banter) Korporal, Sister – Dottie King, and Brother – Darroll Korporal.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A service to celebrate his life will be at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 14, 2019 with Pastor Ken Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory in Marion.
