Diana Fisher

On August 24, 2018, Diana Fisher was called to her heavenly home surrounded by those she loved. She will join her husband, James Phillip Fisher, and daughter Elaine Fisher, in heaven. Her journey is now over. She was born on February 1, 1947 to Harold and Phyllis (McGee) Dunn, who proceeded her in death. Diana is survived by her son James Phillip Fisher II (Bloomington), and Melissa (Fisher) and Rob Knox II of Upland, and brother Michael (Mary) Dunn of Florida. Diana dearly loved her grandchildren and leaves behind, Ashton Needler of Edgewood, Makenzie Fisher, Kayla Fisher and Landen Fisher of Wabash, Robbie Knox III, Delilah Knox, and Gabriella Knox of Upland. Daughter Elaine Fisher preceded her in death. Special thanks to Rolling Meadows Healthcare, and Heart to Heart Hospice. She also leaves behind very special family & friends Rachel Fisher and Shirley Fisher who were constantly by her side.

Diana retired in 2017 from the City of Marion and graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Therapy in 1969. Diana was very active over the years as a volunteer at the Lakeview Wesleyan Church Sunday School nursery ministry. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all those who have supported us during this time of loss.

Funeral arrangements has been entrusted to Jones-Smith Chapel, Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 259 N. Main St., Upland, IN. Graveside service for Diana will be 11:00 AMTuesday August 28, 2018 at the Marion National Cemetery with Pastor Jim Sonnefield officiating.
