Della Mae Hart, 77, Converse, passed away at 7:50 am on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, April 26, 1945, to Harry and Margaret (Bennett) Hart.
Della attended Oak Hill High School and was a member of Mier Community Church. She enjoyed decorating outside for the holidays, as well as working in her yard in the summertime.
Survivors include her twin sister, Stella (late James) Holcomb of Converse; brother, Paul Edward (late Jane) Bennett of Converse; nieces, Angie, Kim, Rachel, and Stephanie; and great-nieces, Katelyn and Kirsten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harry R. Hart and Chester (Peggy) Hart; and sister, Mary (twin to Harry) Hart.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Della’s life will begin at 12:00 noon. Pastor Wally Champion will be officiating with burial taking place at Grant Memorial Park.
