Deborah Kae Dailey

Deborah Kae Dailey, 71, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in her home. She was born in Oceanside, California, on July 20, 1951.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Dailey; sons, TJ (Tara) Dailey, Trent (Angel) Dailey, and Todd (Jenna) Dailey; 10 grandkids: Roman, Hadley, Eden, Noah, Kaelynn, Kennedy, Oliver, Isaiah, Miles, and Grant; and sisters, Pam (Ken) Sechrist and Tina Gartland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Royce J. Mills, and her mother, Erlene K. (Strauser) Mills.

Debbie spent her entire life serving others. Professionally, she had a passion for kids and taught at St. Paul Catholic, Marion Community Schools, and Mississinewa Community Schools, where she was a teacher and a guidance counselor.  Personally, Debbie volunteered at St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Martin’s, and Marion Philharmonic. She also belonged to PEO, Advance Club, and Tri Kappa.

Debbie had a way of welcoming everyone and making them feel special. Throughout her life, she continuously found ways to lift others up, whether that was her co-workers, students, family, or friends. Debbie’s true passion in life was her kids and her ten grandkids.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN 46952.

On Monday, January 9, 2023, there will be a short visitation from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1031 W. Kem Rd., Marion, IN 46952.  Mass will then begin at 11:00 am with Father Dan Gartland conducting the service.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
