David J. Dunning, 54, Gas City, passed away at 6:03 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Gas City. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, February 9, 1969, to John Dunning and Jean (Robinson) Henkel. On June 14,1997, he married Stacy Taylor.
David graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked as a CDL Truck Driver. He loved riding Harleys and playing cornhole. He also enjoyed gardening, landscaping, fixing and building things.
Survivors include his daughter, Alexis (Roger) Litton of Fort Stewart, GA; son, Aidyn Dunning; several brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Larry (Cindy McCown) Petoskey.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Dunning; mother, Jean Henkel; and wife, Stacy Dunning.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Burial will take place at Thrailkill Cemetery.
