David C. Fisher, 90, of Peru passed away on April 30, 2016 at Aperion Care in Peru.
He was born in Mexico, Indiana on July 25, 1925 to Harley U. and Clara B. (Lowman) Fisher. He married Bernadine Applegate. His parents and his wife preceded him in death.
David was retired from Civil Service, and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was also a member of the Mexico Church of the Brethren. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as his dear friend, Jane Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents, as well a brother, Isaac Fisher; four sisters: Ruth Damaris Morehouse, Lillia Louise Fultz, Mary Margaret Metzger, and Genevieve Fisher.
There will be a graveside service at 6pm on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana. Military service will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.
