David B. Bradford

David B. Bradford, 70, Warren, passed away in his home at 2:04 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018.  He was born in Marion on February 2, 1948, to the late Bernard E. and Annis M. (Pulley) Bradford and had spent most of his life in Huntington County.

David was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson Center High School in Huntington County.  He retired from Empire Gas after 44 years of service and was also a farmhand for John Blinn for several years.  He was a member of the Warren Area Antique Tractor Club, where he served as treasurer for several years.  He pulled dead weight tractors for 50 years and was a promoter for the Warren tractor pull for 10 years, where he made many friends.  David had a caring spirit and did everything he could to help the people in his life.  He attended Lancaster Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by his loving companion of 21 years and best friend of 44 years, Jodie McDaniel, Warren; son, Ashley D. (fiancée Heather) Bradford, Marion; grandchildren, LaTosha Bradford, Jesse Bradford, and Keturah Bradford; sisters, Doris (Bob) Cook, New Castle, and Reta (late Rev. Richard) Runyon, Marion; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

David’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.  Pastor Doug Sharrard and Pastor Ann Jones will be officiating with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
