Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Maggart, 67, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 5:54 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 2, 1955, in California, to William “Bill” Aust and Bonnie Jean (Miller) Tucker.
Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Wabash High School. She was a homemaker. Cindy married Steve L. Maggart on March 23, 1974 in Peru, Indiana; he died September 6, 2015. She was a member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Wabash, where she volunteered in several capacities including the kitchen. Cindy was a past-president for Relay for Life in Wabash, as well as a breast cancer survivor herself. She enjoyed baking and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Tony (Carie) Maggart and Tommy (Angela) Maggart, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, granddaughter, Marissa Maggart of Indianapolis, Indiana, four siblings, Janet (John) Parke of Wabash, Candi (Dave) Cummings of North Manchester, Indiana, Jim Aust of Noblesville, Indiana, and Mike Aust of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
