Crystal Ann Swavey was born to Susan Carey and Ronald Yates Sr. on August 28, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She passed on December 3, 2023 at 12:20pm.
Crystal was a full-time stay at home mom and enjoyed taking care of people. Her favorite flowers were lilacs. She enjoyed coloring, word searches, and mentoring her children. She also loved cats.
Crystal was preceded in death by Robert Carey and Barbara Carey McDowell. Crystal will be lovingly remembered by her two kids, Keegan Swavey and Abigail Swavey, Susan Perkins of Peru, and Marsha Carey.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Swavey, Abigail Swavey, Keegan Swavey, Susan Perkins, Michael Swavey Jr., Ronald Yates Jr., and Julie Yates.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 11:30am on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street Peru, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 11:30am with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
