WABASH, IN – Crossroads Bank announces the promotion of Erin Reason. Erin has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Controller. Erin graduated from Manchester University in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Accounting. She then worked for the public accounting firm Crowe Horwath LLP in South Bend as an Associate before joining Crossroads Bank in 2013 as Assistant Controller. Since joining Crossroads Bank, Erin has enhanced her knowledge of banking and bank accounting practices. She has completed the Essentials in Banking course offered by the Indiana Bankers Association, completed the Wabash County Leadership Development course and attended various seminars/conferences on accounting updates and risk management. Erin serves as the liaison with outside auditors, organizes the audit committee, responds to day-to-day needs of the Accounting Department and focuses on financial reporting. Erin also volunteers her time to teach multiple Junior Achievement courses in Wabash County elementary schools.
