Clair Lee Lynn, age 74, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at 9:52 am at Lutheran Hospital. He graduated from Urbana High School in 1961. He was a farmer, worked for Wabash County ASCS (FSA), and was a crop loss adjuster for Federal Crop Insurance & several private companies including John Deere Insurance. He did volunteer work for the Gene Stratton- Porter Hopewell Foundation. He was a member of St. Paul’s County Line Church. In June 1992, he received an Administrator’s Award for service in agriculture for Distinguished Individual Achievement in the ASCS & FCIC from USDA. He was a good son and brother.
Clair was born June 16, 1943, in Huntington County, the son of Ralph H. and Mary Lucile (Rudig) Lynn. He is survived by a sister Barbara Lynn of Lagro. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Richard Jo Lynn and a sister Carolyn Marie (Lynn) Hegel.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 23 from 12-2 pm preceding the 2:00 pm funeral service at St. Paul’s County Line Church, Andrews. Pastor Conrad Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s County Line Cemetery.
