Cheryl Rose Edwards, 49, of Marion, passed away at 1:44 am on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was born in Sun Valley, California, on Monday, July 29, 1974, to Fred Worley and Elaine Phelps. She was married to Dondi D. Edwards, who preceded her in death on November 2, 2020.
Cheryl attended Marion High School and worked in Assembly at Bluffton Rubber Company. She was a member of AMVETS. Cheryl was an avid pool player. She loved all animals, especially her cats, movies, and the Chicago Cubs. She was a clean freak and loved looking pretty; she took much care with her appearance. She missed her husband, Dondi, very much. She will also be remembered as very charitable and one who dearly loved children.
Survivors include her father, Fred William Worley; daughters, Shandessa Worley of Marion and Emiley Edwards of FL; sons, Dylan Jacks of Marion, Nathan (Jessica Danielle Ganaway) Jacks of Marion, Nicholas Edwards of Marion, Chanse Edwards of Marion, and Aaron Edwards of Syracuse; brother, Fred William (Amand Shall) Worley of Bolingbrook, IL; sister, Melissa I. (late Paul) Koom; grandson, Jayden Sadovi; nieces, Amber (Marion Brown) Worley, Abby Worley, Amy Worley, Alex Worley, Stephanie Rude, Catelyn (Lorenzo) Pettiford, and Janet (Nick Morrow) Huffman; nephew, Brandon (Alex Lynch) Rude; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Frances Phelps.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
