Carol Louise Potter

Carol Louise Potter, 65, Marion, passed away at 11:57 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, November 1, 1955, to Joseph and Mary (Kirby) Dailey. She married Terry Potter who preceded her in death in 2012.

Carol graduated from Mississinewa where she played a variety of sports and was in the GAA. She was a homemaker who served her family well as a dedicated wife and mother. She was a devoted servant of the Lord and attended several local churches. She loved playing Euchre, crafting, and ministering to many residents at the nursing home and even wrote notes of encouragement to cancer patients through Gilead Ministries.

Survivors include her son, Terry V. Potter, Jr. of Hermitage, TN; sister, Nancy (Paul) Nysewander of Plainfield; brother, Dave (Petra) Dailey of Leesville, LA; sister-in-law, Geri (Bob) Tetrick of Noblesville; brother-in-law, Tom Potter of Wise,VA; nephews, Tommy (Lauren) Potter, John Tetrick, Shane Dailey; and nieces, Donnie Potter, Megan (Brad) Hopewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Y. and Mary Ellen Dailey; husband, Terry V. Potter, Sr.; and father and mother-in-law, Billy and Ellen Potter.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a private graveside service to celebrate Carol’s life will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
