Carol Ann Weller

Carol Ann Weller, 78, received her eternal reward at Sturgill Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, Florida, at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018.  She was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on March 12, 1940, to the late Eugene M. and Florence (Dawson) Savage.  On November 22, 1959, Carol married her loving husband, Glen R. Weller, and he survives.

During her years in Ohio, Carol worked in medical billing for 18 ½ years.  When she moved to Florida, she was the assistant to the treasurer at Wesleyan Village, a Christian retirement center in Brooksville.  She would go to the nursing home and do the ladies’ hair if they were unable to get out.  Carol also loved to read.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glen; children, Ron (Joy) Weller, Anderson, Patricia (Mark) Swanson-Strand, Nebraska, and Rodney (Lisa) Weller, Summitville; brother, Floyd (Virginia) Savage, Fredericktown, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Timothy Swanson.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following visitation, a funeral service for Carol will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. George Cecil and Rev. Carl Cecil officiating.  Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
